Private Lessons

People learn to dance for many different reasons. For some it's a way of meeting new people, others like the exercise, have an interest in the music, can't get enough of different forms of dance, are dragged along by their partner or simply feel that they've got 2 left feet and would like to do something about it.

Private lessons may be taken either 1-on-1, as a couple or with a small group. Private group lessons can be arranged on an ongoing basis and we also offer "Bridal dance" packages to prepare you for your special occasion.

We teach the following dance styles privately:

Salsa (Puerto Rican, Cuban or Colombian)
Bolero (great for "wedding dances")
Tango Argentino (Argentine Tango)
Lambada
Samba/Gafieira
Merengue

Private lessons may be of interest to you if you feel that you identify with any of the following statements:

"I worry about looking silly in a group class. I'd rather get a grip on the basics before trying them in public."

Private lessons are the best and fastest way to become a good dancer.

Pricing

All private lessons are held at the El Bailongo Dance Studio in Tempe.
Private lessons are 1 hour in duration and are subject to studio availability.

Single: $65
Couple: $80
Extras: add $20 per person

We are available for private lessons at various times during the day, some evenings and on the weekends. Please contact us to discuss what you would like to achieve and to book your private lessons.
